Katy & Michael

Katy and Michael’s wedding is a personal one for us, with Katy being Jonty’s wife’s sister (a bit of a mouthful!). These two were so incredibly energetic, kind, and just down-right awesome to photograph.
From the get-go, I could tell how important family is to these two. Katy is one of 9 siblings (we’ve shot more than a few of their weddings!). Michael comes from, not as big of a family, but just as tight of one. In a little special moment where Michael’s Mum and Dad said a prayer for Michael, all three ended up fighting back tears.
I believe the wide range of authentic family photos captured from this wedding day is a testamant to how connected these two are with not only one another, but to their incredible families as well.
We’re so incredibly grateful that to have captured Katy and Michael’s wedding. With how great, authentic, and photogenic these two were, it was an absolute breeze to capture real moments for them.
